Hi ALL,
I've done a little research about change an H4 visa to F1--and most website suggested it's a bad idea especially if my Green Card is pending.
However, I'm required to change to F1 to stay in the US to finish my bachelor's degree, because I will be turning 21 soon and dependent children over age 21 cannot hold an H4 visa.
I'm hoping my GC will be approved by the summer of 2009, and still apply to medical school.
I was wondering if there are any options other than changing to F1 in order to stay in the US waiting for my GC? If not, how will changing to F1 impact my ability to get my GC AND apply to med school?
