Is there a deadline in terms of what time we have to withdraw by today?? I know it's the last minute, but I haven't made up my mind between two different schools. What's the best way to withdraw at this point? PLease help me out!!

thanks!!

I am no expert, but I am guessing that you need to withdraw before the admissions offices close 🙂
At this point, I think your only option is to call them and send official letters today as well.

Call the admissions office of the school you want first. Make sure they know you are withdrawing from the other school otherwise they could drop you.

Once you are sure they are not going to take back your acceptance, call the school you want to withdraw from. Talk to someone on the admissions committee, then ask if they want you to follow up with a letter, email, etc.

Make sure to call the school you want to go to! AMCAS has sent out the data and I know my school wasn't too psyched to see that I had two spots (even though I withdrew two weeks ago).

And you might as well do it right now. The decision won't be any easier in one hour, five hours, or tomorrow when it's too late.

email worked fine for me

make sure you call amcas (see my PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUCMENT post) and check to see whether you are only holding on acceptance.

they do make mistakes and even if you have written a letter to the schools to withdraw things can get messed up in the process and AMCAS might still have you listed with more than one acceptance.

Yes, i withdrew from two schools and got responses back from both of them, one via email and the other via snail mail. Hope that helps. You could always try calling aamcs as ckat stated.
