hi i jus wanted to know tht when applying for the national boards do i need the ece evaluation before applying or without tht i can submit my application to the board help me out please henna

When you submit your evaluation request to the ECE you're suposse to provide it with the adresses you want the evaluation to arrive, in this case the ADA's Joint Comission on.......
It takes ECE report almost a month to reach the interested parties (you and the ADA).

So you are not the one who sends the ADA the evaluation report, the ECE does so. So you submit your application to the NDBE by itself, without ECE's report.

Make sure you request your evaluation report at least a month before the exam registration deadline, just to make sure it's there on time.

My memory on this is really fading but Iam going to try to help you anyway ( you might be able to save some money in the long run ).......... When you order ECE, they do have a few options.....tick the one that's expensive 'cause when you apply to the schools they will expect you to send them the more detailed ECE ( ie the expensive report ).
Did it make any sense ??

to apply for the nbde1 ada needs a general evaluation report from ece directly.
and when u apply for the dental schools they need the course by course evaluation ( which is more expensive 🙂)

yeah, those were the terms I was looking for, thnx itsme.
Dont ask for a general eval in the first place 'cause you'll need the course by course later anyways, so if you ask for course by course NOW , you'll only have to ask for copies of it later which will turn out to be cheaper, if you ask for general eval now, you will again have to ask for a seperate course by course which will be expensive as it will be considered 'first copy', makes sense?
Bottom line dont ask for general eval in the first place.

I think i'll advice u not to get other eveluaton reports like course by course / suject analysis with the genral evaluation , coz i had got them done but they reached to the schools way in advance before the deadline and when i send them the complete application , they would reply me saying that they haven't received ece evluation and same goes with toefl and ada scores ! so i had to order them again!!!
so be smart and be prepared for the surprises!!!!

yes thats what i did...i chose the course-by-course eval and its acceptable by ADA to send that for the exam appli (i confirmed this by calling). and yes most schools do require course-by-course when u apply since its the one that provides ur GPA.

Earlier this year I had to get an ECE Subject Analysis evaluation, which is like a Course by Course, but more extensive, in-deph and complete, 'cause it details what topics I covered in each class I took.

I was wondering if any of you guys has any idea if the schools will accept this instead of the Course-by-Course?

'cause it's much cheaper for me to just order extra copies of this, instead of requesting a new evaluation plus copies.

After all the Subject Analysis, contains the same as in a course by course with even more info on it.

I know I gotta call the schools for this, but I just felt like asking before I waisted even more money.......
