I am Canadian, reapplicant.
My stats are not that great, I'm just going to give it another chance in the US before going to international options.

cGPA 3.60 (Strong upward trend), HBsc graduate with Biology specialist from University of Toronto.
MCAT 1: 26-O (9PS/7VR/10BS)
MCAT 2: Wrote in July 8th. But NOT expecting a higher result at all.
ECs: Done a variety of volunteering (i.e medical clinics, blood bank, medical labs...etc), no science research.

Please help me pick Canadian friendly schools who accept students with lower MCAT scores (especially VR section). I only want to apply to 3-5 MD schools, I really do not have the money for more!

Thank you for the help everyone!

With a low mcat your chances at US MD as a Canadian is low. While considering DO school is a possibility for most US residents it's somewhat of difficult route for Canadians. So in the words of the great Maple Syrup god Bannie " Go Carib".

Though I think BU, Wayne State are ok for Canadians ( I know Bannie got a major scholarship there).

OP,

Your GPA is good enough in a sense that an excellent MCAT score can redeem it. However, you should have voided your second MCAT take if you felt it wasn't an improvement, as some med schools look at ALL your MCAT takes.

Your 3.6 GPA is good enough in that if you get a 35 on the MCAT, you would be in good shape.

With this being said however, you need at least another year to get more research, shadowing, and nonmedical community service done. Thanks.

I have an acceptance at a school in Ireland.
But it doesn't hurt to try again before going.
I'll consider BU and Wayne State. Any others that accept lower MCAT scores?
