Not sure about the other programs, but for the DC programs ...

1. George Washington
2. Washington Hospital Center
3. Georgetown (financial problems, lost Fairfax as a training site)

I don't know much about the other programs, but I really liked GWU when I went up there to interview...my two cents

I am from SUNY Stony Brook and went to some of these places in NY/NJ:

1. RWJ (excellent teaching, and good match for fellowship. Great in Hem/Onc)
2. Jacobi (excellent for cardio, good teaching, Einstein faculty, good match for fellowship)
3. St. Luke (Great location, decent match for fellowship, not sure about teaching, good at GI)
4. LIJ (Great faculty and teaching, decent match for fellowship, strong in hematology)
5. Lenox Hill (Great in cardiology, rank #24 across the nation, a bit cush for training, 80% private patient)

Hope this helps.
