Help me with the school list!

Science GPA: 3.40
Bio-Chem-Physics GPA: 3.40
(I transferred from a CC and my CC GPA is around 3.3 and my UC GPA is 3.7)

DAT score (include AA and all sections): AA 21, TS 21, Bio 21, GC 18, OC 24, PA 23, QR 19, RC 22
State of Residence: CA

Undergrad Attended: UC

Major: Biotechnology
Minority? No
Reapplicant? yes
Nontrad? No

Shadowing Experience: Over 600 hours (240 hours of 600 hours are shadowing prosthodontist)

Volunteering Experience: 100 hours at a hospital, 56 hours at a dental clinic, and 26 hours at animal shelters

Employment: 200 hours Waitress, and 40 hours tutor

Research: Over 750 hours (234 hours in undergraduate and currently working as RA at a plant lab)

Other Extracurriculars: One-year Treasurer at a club

Relevant Honors or Awards: dean's list, several scholarships, outstanding undergraduate accomplishment award from UC

LOR type and strength: 2 science profs (one strong and one not sure), 1 dentist, 1 PI from the lab


Schools that are typed in bold are my top choices. When I made this list, I concerned about the location since my husband is a software engineer and he will be moving with me so I need to concern about his job as well.

I will appreciate any advice about my school list! Do I have a chance with these schools? How many schools should I apply? Any opinion about location of the schools? Also please let me know if there is any school I should consider applying.

wow, 4/9 are amongst the most competitive in the country and only one private school with a 19AA/20TS
