Hey all,

I am a reapplicant this year and would like some help narrowing down my school list to 25 (currently have 33). I received interviews at the schools in bold (waitlisted at both) for the 2016-17 cycle.

MCAT = 509
cGPA = 3.8
sGPA = 3.9
~ 300-400 hours clinical and non-clinical volunteer (new this cycle)
6 months (and ongoing) clinical employment (new this cycle)
NO RESEARCH
Average undergrad EC's
Assume good letters of rec/normal PS
FL resident for the past year but attended undergrad in NY and lived there my entire life.

Current list:
Albany
FAU
Rosalind Franklin
Creighton
Drexel
EVMS
FIU
Florida State
Quinnipiac
GW
Georgetown
Indiana
Buffalo
Temple
Medical College of Wisconsin
NYMC
Oakland University
Penn State
Jefferson/Sidney Kimmel
SUNY Downstate
SUNY Upstate
Stony Brook
Tufts
Tulane
USF
Uniformed Services (interested in HPSP anyway)
University of Arizona-Tucson
UCF
University of Florida
Hawaii - JABSOM
Miami
VCU
Wake Forest

Also let me know if you think I should add a few DO schools to be safe, though I think I should be okay.

Thanks for your help everyone

You have a good list. You could remove Arizona and Indiana since you are not a resident of those states and your MCAT is probably not competitive for a non resident. Tufts is a slight reach. Yes, add a least 6 DO schools and your are competitive for all DO schools (include Nova and LECOM-Bradenton). Your new clinical activities should help you in the next cycle.

Here is a more realistic list:
U VM
Rush
NYMC
Creighton
Albany
Rosy Franklin
Drexel
Temple
Loma Linda (but read their list of don'ts)
MCW
SLU
WVU
Jefferson
Tulane
Loyola
Wake Forest
VCU
Netter
EVMS
Oakland-B
Uniformed Services University/Hebert (just be aware of the military service commitment)
Any DO program. I can't recommend Touro-NY, or LUCOM, for different reasons
Your state school(s).
