I know...this is another I neep help with my situation question. I'm graduating this May with a B.S. in Biology and Psychology. I applied for the post bach program at Lake Erie. My question is what are my chances of getting into medical school if any and am I going the right route?

P.S.
My GPA is 3.01 and MCAT score is 22 (taking it again in April)

Hi Watson,

Those stats are really at the low end. Chances for admission to med school with your current scores will be very difficult. Even if you April scores go up dramatically, your gpa will probably take you out of the running during the initial screening process. I suggest completing the post-bac and while you're doing the post-bac, assess your application honestly and improve other areas of your application that you think are weak. I'm guessing that my advice is not really surprising to you because you've already thought about post-bac programs. I understand your desire to get to med school as fast as you can, but application to med school is an emotionally and finacially trying experience so you only want to have to do it once. Make sure you apply with the best possible application. It's a long road, but just be patient and I'm sure your efforts will pay off.

Best of luck to you.
