help needed from Penn med students

does anyone know what a "low pass" during the basic science years entails? i've been accepted there and have heard that even if you get a 70+ (technically passing), that you can still be stuck with a LP on your internal records. do they tell you that you are getting an LP?

does anyone have any truth or expeience with this?

Some people know me as the biggest slacker in first year. I consistantly get just above 70 on almost every exam and I'm yet to get the grade of low pass. I don't know anyone else who got it either. I wouldn't worry about it. Also, if you were somehow to get this mysterious grade, it supposedly only shows up on your internal Penn transcript (for Penn residencies or other positions later in life), and does not show up on your external transcript.
