HELP! score dropped with last nbme

Hi guys,

I'm panicking a little bit. I just took nbme 16 and my score dropped about 5 points from what I got on nbme 15 and 7. I have been studying and I thought that I have been learning more. Im not sure how the drop came about. My test is in a week! Does anyone have suggestions on what I should do in this last week?

Relax? I took NBME15 2 days before my test, 3 days after NBME16 and my score dropped 6 points. My exam results were fine. A 5 point difference is probably normal considering it's the difference of probably 3 questions.

Chill.........it is normal variation between tests. If you dropped 20+ points, then freak out! You are fine.

You are in the range. You need to focus on weak areas. And build those up to get that 5 pts.

NBMEs are predictive to within +/- 10 points. You aren't supposed to get the same score on every form.
