Should I SCRIBE or do an SMP during my gap year?

My sGPA is around 3.3 (my cGPA is 3.55)
MCAT is good.

My clinical experience consists of shadowing (around 50 hours) and hospital volunteering.

Which would enhance my app more, I'm wondering.

I can't do both at the same time, right (SCRIBE part time like in college and do SMP)? That wouldn't be a good idea unless I was a genius, I'm presuming.
If I SCRIBEd and took some upper level science courses (which was someone's suggestion), my sGPA would maybe go up like .01 point.
At the same time an SMP seems really intimidating.

I'm shooting for allopathic. Any input is appreciated.

Do you have any clinical experience already?

If not, you need to get some. Becoming a scribe would be a great plan.

At the same time you could also take upper division science courses (wouldn't do more than 12 credits/semester if you're working full time).

Even though it would only raise your sGPA a little, having an upward grade trend will help as well.

If you already have clinical experience I'd do the SMP.
