Hey all, I'm just wondering if anyone could help me with a Physics question...it pertains to the laws of physics and pizza cutters.

the question is explain using the laws of physics why pizza chefs use "pizza cutters" to solve pies into sections as opposed to equally sharp knives.

The pizza cutter involves one swift stroke, transferring your forward force into centripetal force that rotates a potentially never-ending blade. With a knife, you have to lift, reposition, and press down into the pizza...while sawing back and forth against the friction of the dough to cut it. Too much energy involved...no torque?

Haha I don't know 😀

Think about force per unit area.
