Help with interview problem

I just got an interview with Texas A&M but it conflicts with a nonrefundable trip that I am taking to visit schools in New York. I've saved a lot of money so that i can go on the trip and there really is no way I can miss it. How should I handle the interview with a&m? Will they be pissed? will they offer me another interview? please help.

Can't you reschedule your interview date? I would think that they'd be understanding about conflicts - just give them a call and ask.
