When schools request letters from 3 faculty members, 2 science and 1 non science . is a health science professor such as a nursing professor considered a science or non science professor? if anyone has the answer to this question that would be greatly appreciated! thanks.

You may want to contact the schools which require those specific letters, but I am guessing that a letter from a nursing prof is a non-sci since nursing is not in a BCPM ("science") category on the AMCAS.

I would just get the non science letter and a decent amount of science recommendation letters that way you have as little issues as possible. Lots of schools define things differently (some even think of math as non science) so it's better to just get as many as you can.
