Take off Touro-NY and NYIT. I wouldn't put UNE, I feel it maybe too much of a reach (I think there is a region bias also).

I think you are okay for most of those on your list. Also add those on user3's list.

you can't be selective with those stats. you need to broaden your list because your stats are below average for nearly all those schools.

Touro-NY should be for the middletown location. NYIT and UNE are still worth a shot.

Both NYIT and UNE do have region bias. If OP is from those areas maybe, but if not, then it is not worth it. Can't saying anything for middle town, if that is what OP is referring to then I guess it is worth a shot. However, if referring to Harlem, then no.

Why not Harlem?

Thanks for the recommendations. I will have to look into the schools a bit more.
I'm hesitant on Burrell though.

I'm from the DC metro area. Not very DO friendly here.
I am hoping for Harlem, but browsing through the match lists for Touro, there are matches in NY/manhattan region including NJ, which is a big plus for me.
Girlfriend's job market thrives in NYC or in big cities, which is why a big factor for me is to be near a city. Also, her dad is a physician who has been helping me throughout this whole process. Having him as a mentor throughout my education would be a big plus. But if we breakup, that mentorship is gone. This almost feels like a catch-22..

Why not Harlem?
Too competitive for my stats, I believe.

Thanks again for your time and help guys!

Haven't finished researching but so far, if anyone else can give any input, here's what I've come up with.

AZCOM-rotation sites in LA (will apply)
Touro NV-can't find rotation sites but read they are in Las Vegas and even CA region. (will apply)
Touro CA-heard bad things about setting up rotation sites; not much guidance for years 3, 4; but rotation sites all over CA (will apply, the extra work for setting up rotations isn't that bad compared living in the middle of nowhere at another school with rotations already set up)
Touro NY Middletown campus-match list around NY region, if not in NY/manhattan (will put applying to both Harlem and Middletown campus on secondary app)
UNECOM-heard great school but rotation sites are around Maine (or north of Connecticut, minus the 1-2 rotation sites there); not good for GFs job market area (minus Boston but no rotation sites there); (may not apply since it seems competitive for my stats)
Other schools pending..

- Also, I've already applied to those schools on my list. Sorry I didn't make that clear.
- Cost isn't a big issue here. I'll take the hit on my wallet albeit having slim to no chance at some of the schools (like CCOM).
- Years 1-2 aren't that big of an issue for me. Years 3-4 are since I'd like to get the most out of my clinical years to prep me for residency placement in a city.
- Asian, so I'd like to have some asian friends I can relate with.

Just want to get into a school for this cycle.
Wish I didn't fall into the category of "beggars can't be choosers".

Beggars can't be choosy; add ACOM, LMU, KYCOM, AT Still, LECOM, Wm Carey, BCOM.

Delete CCOM and the coastal Touros
