I believe both the answers r correct for pfk 1 in muscle

when ATP is high,the cell does not need ATP,the glycolysis is inhibited

When there is high levels of citrate,it indicates that adequate amt of substrate r entering the TCA cycle.therefore ,glycolysis slowes down.

pls correct me if iam wrong

QUOTE=kal_nag]1- vasa recta
2- ATP[/QUOTE]

PFK-1 is inhibited by both: ATP and citrate.
PFK-1 is activated by AMP and fructose 2,6-biphosphate (F 2, 6-bp)

PFK-1 is stimulated by insulin and inhibited by glucagon but by an indirect process involving PKF-2 and fructose 2,6-biphosphate (F 2, 6-p)

PFK-2 is stimulated by insulin and inhibited by glucagon by an indirect process.

Therefore: insulin activates PKF-2 directly----PFK-2 converts fructose-6p to fructose2,6 bp--fructose 2,6 bp activates PKF-1.
