Help With VA GPR/AEGD

What are acceptable board scores to apply with confidence to a VA GPR or AEGD?

I am currently ranked about 39/63 and have NBDE 1 composite score of 84. Should I even invest in the application process and get my hopes up, or are my chances pretty slim?

I matched into a VA program with similar rank and board score. Focus on your personal statement and get solid LORs. Getting into a VA GPR/AEGD isn't all GPA and board scores.
