hey guys, I am going to be attending a dental school in the States and getting a DMD degree. I just have some questions specifically towards international dental students in the States.
1) Are there any loans we (international students) can get out there without a cosigner in the States? I've been living in the States for a long time with a student visa and with good credit record. Any scholarships? How did you manage to pay for the tuition?
2) After you pass the exams and qualify to work in the States, how are you going to look for jobs? Are a lot of private offices willing to sponsor you with a green card or a working visa? any hospitals? I am just worried that after getting my degree, I might not be able to find any jobs here cuz nobody really wants to go through all the paper work to sponsor me with a green card / working visa.
