I'm not sure what to do- i interviewed at NYCOM but got rejected from PCOM and am still waiting on whether UMDNJ-SOM is going to interveiw me or not. My composit MCAT score is a 25 and GPA is a 3.69. I think i'm a competitive cadidate. I graduate in May 2000. I debating whether i should work for a year or go to post-bach.- i really want to go to osteopathic med. school- i applied very late ( in January - so my supplementals didn;t get to the schools until March)- what should i do?

do i still have a chance at NYCOM- I really liked it there

Generally, if you want help you should let people know what type of help you need. Otherwise they are not likely to respond.

1. Call NYCOM to make sure your rejection didn't get lost in the mail

2. Be patient

3. If it doesn't work out this year, get a job and apply early next year

4. That MCAT could be better, consider taking a prep course.

Good luck
