Hi everyone! If anyone out there can answer this question and make me feel good that would be great. Right now I am looking for an intership during the summer, and I have recived a reply from an office with 6 different MD's ranging from Standford to Irvine. Somebody told me that I should take an intership with a general practioner instead of what I have which is an orthopedic office, they do stuff liek neck, ankle, sports medicine, etc... so i really thought that it donest matter as long as you have an intership somewhere, where they can write you letters of rec, and you just work to gain experience that working with them would be fine, is that true?
along with that what is the difference between volunteering and an intership? Because i am volunteering with a local hospital which is like working in a medical atmosphere, and if i do get an intership isnt that the same thing, both non paid, and we both gain experience, so whats the difference. If you can answer both those questions that would be really great..thanks a lot...

A second thread? You may want to delete this extraneous thread. I gave you some advice under the other thread you started before:
