Please guys, I really need some advice/sense of direction. Here is my situation: I was a really bad undergrad student and have since improved my academic record with graduate classes and a competitive DAT score. I am fortunate to have been accepted to A university, which was my goal from the start - Boston University. I received an acceptance letter package from them and recently submitted my deposit for the fall. But my guilty conscience wont let me sleep at night. In undergrad, I didn't successfully complete Organic Chemistry 2 (in other words, I got an F), but have since made significant progress and my failure in undergrad may have been overlooked by the admissions committee. Nobody at the university has mentioned anything about organic chemistry 2. But the haunting sentence at the end of the acceptance letter keeps me from sleeping at night - "This acceptance is provisional pending the completion of all application requirements and required courses" Up until now, I wasn't worried about Orgo 2 hindering me, but lately I've heard some horror stories and don't want to have one to tell myself. So I am thinking of bringing up the issue and asking BU whether they want me to take Orgo 2 this summer OR just hoping it will not be an issue and it will slide. What do you guys think i should do??
I would really appreciate any sound advice and if anyone has gone through a similar situation, please shed light on it. I apologize for the long post, but please help!!!
