Hi
can any one reccomend a good, easy to follow hematology text book please?

our lecturer reccommended an out of print text (Israel and Israel , mechanisms in hematology). I found it online on their website but It is too darn crazy to understand !!!

Im loving every subject of med school till now and have managed to understand everything and get high grades, but Im worried about this subject from where im gonna study

thanks

I read this book (for "fun," not for a class), however, it only covers benign hematology http://www.amazon.com/Disorders-Hem...8344/ref=sr_1_7?ie=UTF8&qid=1332448019&sr=8-7. What exactly do you need a hematology book for? If you're still in med school, just read Big Robbins

hi 10x 4 the reply....

what do you mean by ''what exactly do you need a hematology book for?'' We have a hematology unit, dont other med schools do hematology??

I found essenstial hematology quite good, I gave it a look today

no we have a separate unit for hematology.... and it kinda sucks cos it has a lot to study nd only 4 credits (out of the 30 of the semester)
