hey all, im a senior in h.s. and was wondering how hard it is to do well on the mcat? i know it takes hard work and all, but how possible is it for an "average" person with a horrible memory to do it? I mean, i work hard and i have a 3.895 gpa right now, but it is heavily weighted. I don't do too well in vocabulary right now anyways, and my Sat scores were horrible. I took em 3 times and got a 950, 1020, 870. yeah, 🙁 but i still got into my choice or RIT. On big tests and quizes like Sats' and psats and such i do horrible. Does my future on taking mcat look promising in your eyes? What were your sat scores and experiences? Am I a lost hope? heh, thanks a lot

hey,

If you know you'll do poor, you can always compensate with good college gpa.

The mcat doesn't test on vocab.

Just practice alot, and you'll be fine. Looks like you've got plenty of time and are a bright student. Don't let the mcats hold you back, or scare you off if you want to be a physician.

maybe, try and figure why you do bad with big tests.

Good luck.

Keep in mind that college can really change you. In three years from now you could be a lot better at memorizing and studying. You could also find out that your true calling is magic and after graduating you move to las vegas. The point is, take it easy and tackle things as they come.
