I noticed you got into Cornell. Congrats!!!!!!

Just a couple q's.

When did you interview, may I ask? When were you accepted? and was it regular MD?

I thought they really weren't doing any acceptances before March?

I do recall them telling us when we interviewed that although the vast majority would be notified in the spring, a tiny group would be notified on a rolling basis, or some such. . .

Hi Bebe,

I applied MD-PhD, I interviewed on Nov 16, and I got a call a couple weeks ago.

I've called them back twice to make sure that I got in because I haven't gotten the official letter yet. Good luck.

MAPKinkster, like the name, reference to MAP Kinase?

MAPK= Mitogen Activated Protein Kinase for those of you wondering.

or MAP=Microtubule Associated Protein

HuSKeR-
Yup...I study a MAPK signaling pathway and it just popped in my head when I was thinking of a name. =)

Okay, MAPKinkster, I know this may be a bit too academic for chat board discussion....but which pathway are you researching? I just finished two years working on NF-kB signaling, and MAPKs were everywhere...

Okay, I'm a dork...

:D
