So would you say it's very competitive to get into a state school in NY?
Is it easier than in Cali?

How do you think someone with a 3.5 GPA and a 34 MCAT would fare with admission to a SUNY school? If you got in to a SUNY school, would you mind posting your stats?
Thanks, I'd really appreciate it! :D

I got into both SUNY Upstate and Downstate with two of my worst interview experiences thus far. Granted I am I.S. and from SUNY Binghamton(which apparently has a good "in" with Upstate). Realistically, apply early, like June/July and you're as good as gold.

My stats are 33M/3.98/4.00. GPA is higher than yours but maybe you went to a more prestigious undergrad to counter?

I got into downstate, high waitlist at upstate, and post interview rejection from buffalo. My stats are as follow:

MCAT- 30 (11-P,10-B,9-V)
GPA-3.7
Science GPA-3.6
College:NYU

So i think you have a shot at any of the sunys with that good mcat.

Best,
Dave
