I would suggest you look at http://www.acp.edu/home.php

Also, and I'm not tryng to be mean here, but you'll usually get more/better responses if you use correct spelling/grammar. (If English isn't your first language, this is a good place to try out your writing skills!).

probably b/c most of this information can be found on their website and since most of us have done the work for ourselves we tend to think that its not that big of a challenge to find most of what you're looking for

do some research on your own first

Hi Reni
About Albany, yes they accept transfer students. The higher GPA you have, the better chance you get. No PCAT is required. Hope this helps. You can PM me bout ACP since i will be attending acp summer 06.

I'm not the one that typically acts as grammer police or spelling police for that matter, but what the heck!
I'll point out the crap that annoys me about your post, for your benefit of course!

you is spelled Y-O-U not "U"
are is spelled A-R-E not "R"
why is spelled W-H-Y not "Y"
and is spelled A-N-D not "N"
would is spelled W-O-U-L-D not "wud"
please is spelled P-L-E-A-S-E not "pls"
any is spelled A-N-Y not "ne"
people is spelled P-E-O-P-L-E not "ppl"

annoying grammer mistakes were rampant as well but again... i'm not someone to correct those as most here will testify

your post was absolutely absurd coming from someone who wants to be a professional. in the future i recommend coherant thoughts...

and please don't proclaim you did your research and still didn't know if the school required the PCAT

good luck with your applications

If you try doing a search I know there have been numerous posts regarding Albany. Here's what I know...

Your GPA is competitive for Albany, however, they tend to accept VERY few transfer students because it is primarily a direct-entry school. There usually aren't too many spots open each year for transfers. Albany is only interested in your grades (which is good for you). They don't look at extracurriculars, PCAT scores, letters of recommendations, or conduct interviews. I would suggest applying very early, like right around August when the PharmCAS application is available to maximize your chances of getting one of the few transfer seats that may be open.

As far as Pacific University, I really don't know too much about it. If you had an interview and that is the only place you get accepted this year I would definitely consider it. I can't really tell you whether or not to go there. It's a decision you will have to make on your own if/when the time comes.

Best of luck.

I have a gpa of 3.7 and finished the pharmcas application on december 31, 2005. Do you guys think it is still worthwhile to submit 100 to finish off the process regardless of the limited space?

You could call and pretend you're a student interested in applying for next year and ask roughly how many transfer seats they had open for this year or how many students do they plan to enroll. If they think you've already applied of course they are going to want your money. Maybe if you play it off like you're just looking for some statistics they will be more honest. I personally have never called Albany, but I know people that have and they were pretty upfront with them. It might be worth a shot to see if you can get a solid number from them...
