Ok, I have a question that might be stupid to y'all but; Is there such a thing as having hands that are too big for dentistry? I can just barely palm a basketball. That is to give you an idea of how big my hands are. Thanks.

Welcome!

Big hands? I suppose you could have a handicap fitting your fingers in your patients mouth or handling the small burs and tools!? Are you fingers fat or long and skinny? If they're long and skinny, you'll be fine!! It's all in your manual dexterity!! <img border="0" alt="[Laughy]" title="" src="graemlins/laughy.gif" /> After all, you're not going to stuff your patients with your whole fists!

They don't allow Nebraskans to be dentists anyway!!!

(I lived there, in Hastings, for a couple of years before relocating back to the good ol' state of TX).

Best of luck to you!

deciduous,

I live in Norfolk, NE right now and am headed back to my home state of Texas in August to start school! Isn't living in Texas great??!!!
