Hey everyone,

Thank you for checking my post. I was wondering what you think my chances are for getting into medical school this year, or what I can do to improve it for next year?

GPA: 3.84 cumulative, 3.95 science
MCAT1: 8V, 10P, 10B (28R)
MCAT2: 9V, 7P, 10B (26R) =\

You have a great GPA and ECs, but seriously low MCAT. And it won't look good that the second score is lower yet. If you have a low-selectivity in-state med school, they might give you a shot, since the rest of your application is so good, but your GPA tells me you are capable of doing better on an MCAT. Have you taken a formal MCAT prep class?

If the DO approach appeals to you, you would do very well in an application cycle to their schools.

Thank you so much for your response. Yea, I took a formal prep course. I would get 30-33's on my practice test. Don't know what happened...
