High Yield Cell and Molecular Biology for COMLEX

I am a second-year osteopathic medical student that is preparing to take the COMLEX this coming June. I am unsure if I will be taking the USMLE, but I was wondering that if I was to just take the COMLEX, would it be worth reading High Yield Cell and Molecular Biology before taking the exam? Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks.

If you are ONLY taking the COMLEX then do not waste your time reading that stuff. If you are taking the USMLE then I highly recommend you read it, HY Cell and MB raised my USMLE score substantially.

hey you read the whole book? or were you focused on a few chapters? i have the book and it seems very very detailed in some aspects...i was wondering if those teeny weeny minute details helped??

Sooo, there is not too much cell and MB on the comlex then?!?! That seems odd.

Which edition do you have boss?

You don't need to study Cell & Mol. Bio for the COMLEX (at least back in 2006 you didn't).

Same deal with 2007.

No biostats or epidemiology on COMLEX either. No histo, and I don't think anyone had any embryo either.

Physio and path was a joke, but some of the pharm was ridiculous (specifically the DOC's... several times they only listed alternate drugs as options).
