Hiring office manager - current dentists/graduating students question?

Would you hire student just graduating from university who was planning on taking two gap years? Especially if they have business related experience?

Whats a gap year?

In two years, the person would most likely be leaving to attend further education (e.g. dental school/medical school).

It's a year or two in between graduating undergraduate and attending graduate school.
