That is ridiculous. I wish I could say I'm surprised, but I'm not. And if you read the auction, it looks like this brilliant marketer is actually copying my advice from SDN and emailing THAT to people.

Oh well, I guess "honestfleamarket"s user ID should be changed to "dishonestmarketer"

I guess you could e-mail ebay with links to the originally posted image/advice here, and let them know that you haven't created any auctions. I don't really know specifically how they deal with this sort of stuff, though.

Well, bigfrank, you can file a complaint with ebay.

Go here to do so: http://pages.ebay.com/help/contact_inline/index.html

They will investigate, send a message to the person who posted this asking them to take it down if they find your assertions to be true, and they will remove the item from auction if it is found to be in violation of ebay policy and the person doesn't comply.
