"Hold" category limbo??

After a great interview, I just recieved a letter saying that my application has been placed on "Hold" until all other applicants to the school have been interviewed. After that, I can be either accepted, rejected or waitlisted. Can anyone share their experiences or insights on this? Is this just prolonging an ultimate rejection or is there still hope of acceptance? BTW, my GPA is competitive as are MCATs, extra activities, etc.. Thanks for your comments!

You are still in the running, don't worry, however you shouldn't dismiss other possibilities. Keep on working as if you have been rejected.

Thats probably just their way of doing things. If your interview was great I'd be willing to bet your in.
