I've been hearing a lot of stories about isolating and quarantining COVID patients. There are older patients that are being treated alone and there are some who are even dying alone without being able to say goodbye to their families. With growing emphasis on holistic care, what do you think holistic care looks like in this scenario? Is allowing these patients to see their families for let's say spiritual or mental health / well being a risk you think we ought to be taking?

Holistic a bulls$&@ marketing phrase

my hospital allows an end of life visitor for covid patients. 1, in full ppe

There have been many press stories of nurses making video calls to the families of older patients who might not have the tech savvy to do it. I think this is a good proxy for an in-person visit, which hospitals are wisely prohibiting.
