Has anyone looked over underground clinical vignettes for Step 1? How about Platinum vignettes.

If you have used these resources, please give honest "takes" on these series for the rest of the SDNers.

thanks guys!!

UCV for Step 1 was really useful for my preparation. They have the classic presentations that you must recognize. So it's nice to go over the cases more than once.

good luck

Pathophys for the boards is a good book, in a flash-card sort of way. I dont think it has the right details or questions that the boards looks for. I have the book and read it occasionally, but I worry that it isnt really for the boards so much as it is for the wards.

yah i'd like to know the same thign about the underground clinical vignettes ? in addition, i have the second edition from a friend. are they suffice or are the newer ones better ???

thanks..

oh and idiopathic are you referring to pathyophys for boards and wards by ayala ? cuz i thought that was a good book and i thought sdners suggested it...however, i really havent heard much about it. only reason i even got it was cuz it was rated i think A or A- on FA.

aight later

I agree. I don't really think this is for the boards. Maybe the 75 vignette questions at the end.

I highly question the editors for this book for marketing it as a Step 1 review book. That is "stretching" the truth.
