i called drexel 2day 2 c if they received my letter of interest and updated grades since i've been on pre-interview hold since oct/nov. they told me that basically HOLD meant that my file was looked at only once and had been put into a HOLD pile and that it wouldn't b looked again til sometime in march. they wanted 2 wait 2 c what the rest of the applicant is like b4 looking at the files in the HOLD pile again. so its not like our files keep being passed over, they just haven't been looked at again, but will b in march.

that could be good or bad. It depends what made them decide to stick a bunch of apps in a pile that wouldn't be looked at again for months...

i know what the big glaringly bad part of my app is....the UG gpa. i'm looking at the positive that i wasn't rejected yet so i might have a chance for an interview. since they didn't reject me outright, that gave me a chance to show my good post-bacc grades from fall semester and to do more shadowing to improve my app which i couldn't have done if they rejected me right away. i wrote them a letter of interest for an interview so they'll have that b4 they look at my file again as well. crossing my fingers.

I am on hold at Drexel pre-interview also. Does anyone know how Penn State compares to Drexel?
