Hi-

I'm wondering if any current or past Hopkins MHS students can answer this: how feasible is it to apply to med school during the year you are in the one year masters? Is it hard to miss class for interviews? If anyone is in the Reproductive Bio or Population Bio MHS, how are you liking it? Thanks! Em

I'm in the reprobio MHS program right now. The classes are difficult, but as long as you put in the work you do well. We just finished 1st term and I really love the program. It is very flexible and you can really take whatever classes you want in the school. I am applying right now and just got my first acceptance 😀 . Teachers are very cool about missing class for interviews or what not. I even had to reschedule 3 or 4 exams for interviews and everyone was cool about it. I also work part-time on the weekends at NIH in Bethesda, but i find that I am very busy with class/work/interviewing and wouldnt really recommend doing all three. I'll be here all year, so if u have any questions feel free to PM me.

Jim
