Hospitalist - International

Are there any US-trained hospitalists that have worked in other countries? Are there other countries where MDs are allowed to work and have salaries that are comparable to the US?

I would like to spend some time outside the US and am planning on traveling some, but would be interested to know if there are longer-term opportunities to work.
