New grad here, getting offers around 245 k for 7 on 7 off, is this the standard going rate down here these days or am i getting ripped off?

Somewhat unrelated, but did you happen to get offers for less desirable areas and if so what are they around?

SoCal is too large of a region and could mean different things.

is this 245k guaranteed for a fixed number of years? As a new grad a lot of places offer 270-300k first year then it decreases or gets based on production.

Also depends on how many offers you got so far. In places like LA and OC some systems like Kaiser offer a better package but those jobs you kind of have to wait for to open up.

Right now that 245k offer is pretty average in Socal.

los angeles area
The greater Los Angeles Area includes LA County, Orange County, San Bernardino County, and Riverside County. Ya gotta be a little more specific than that.
