Housing for away rotation in Boston

Hello,

I am going to do an away rotation in Boston at Beth Israel Deaconess from Sept. 24th-Oct 19th. The dorm costs are cuckoo...does anyone have any suggestions as to how to go about getting cheaper housing that's near the hospital for a month? Does anyone know of Harvard listservs I can post requests on? Or anyone who is subleasing during that time? Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thank you!

I stayed with a friend of a friend in the Longwood area when I was an MS-IV (did an away rotation at BWH). Was within walking distance, which I highly recommend - the T doesn't run early enough in the morning, and you DO NOT want to be driving if at all possible!

Try craigslist as well.
