housing for nova

Hi everyone, I'll be attending Nova in the Fall. My wife and I are contemplating buying vs renting. We looked this past weekend at some townhomes in Pembroke Pines and Mirimar and are a little discouraged. Distance, timing on new construction, and prices are all seeming like a challenge. Anyone have any input? Where is everyone else looking? Are people buying or renting and what areas? Anyone buting have a good realtor? Any input would be a big help. Looking forward to meeting everyone.
