Hello all,

This will be my third time taking the MCAT on April 6th. The first two times I relied only on content review and my scores reflected that: 1)493 2)499.

However, I still received three II from two Texas MD and one DO, but no acceptances. I waited a year on the app cycle and now I am preparing with the NextStep prep course.

I wanted to get y'all's input on how I am doing and what I may expect for an actual score in May.

Here is the breakdown:

1)NS FL #1
125- Chem/Phys
125-CARS
126-Bio
127-Psych/Soc
OVERALL: 503

2)NS FL #2
124- Chem/Phys
126-CARS
127-Bio
127-Psych/Soc
OVERALL: 504

3)NS FL #3
126- Chem/Phys
125-CARS
127-Bio
127-Psych/Soc
OVERALL: 505

4)AAMC Sample Test
128- Chem/Phys
129-CARS
127-Bio
129-Psych/Soc
OVERALL: 513

5)AAMC Practice Test #1
125- Chem/Phys
124-CARS
127-Bio
126-Psych/Soc
OVERALL: 502

You need to keep doing practice passages and study specific things that you're weak on. Your C/P and B/B scores show lack of content knowledge.

Also, keep doing CARS practice (timed) everyday.

That is a very odd discrepancy in scores between the sample test and practice test #1. Are you sure you calculated that correctly? Also, what score are you aiming for? A 502 on #1 is dangerously close to the 499 you got on your 2nd MCAT exam and I wouldn't recommend you sit for the real one in April unless you score 5+ points higher on AAMC#2 or #3
