Hi there guys. I was just wondering if I have a chance of getting into medical school.
I have a 3.6 overall gpa, and a rather low science gpa of a 3.3.

Thanks.

Chance? depending on EC, MCAT, and where you want to apply. I would suggest taking a few more sciences to bring that to a 3.4ish.

Whether you have a chance relies on many factors. What is your projected MCAT score? A sterling score has been known to balance low GPAs. A steep recent upward grade trend for 1.5-2.0 years helps too. The state you come from plays a role as some state schools are fairly forgiving, and others, not at all. You may have other modifying factors we can't appreciate since you haven't told us much about yourself.

Your chances of getting into any med school will be higher if you include some DO med schools on your application list.
