How badly will old grades hurt me?

Hi! I'm a Junior currently in the application process. I went to small private college and came out with a 3.8 GPA. However, back when I was in high school, I took a Calc class at my local community college and got a C in a 5.0 credit hour class. This one class brought my cumulative GPA down to a 3.6. I'm concerned that this is going to significantly hurt my chances. Will admissions see that its an old class from community college that's bad, but the rest of my application is strong, or will they toss it aside just based on the 3.6?


If relevant, some other background on my application:
MCAT score not received yet
Bio major, Chem minor
600 clinical volunteering/shadowing hours
200 non clinical volunteering/shadowing hours
Plenty of research/TA/leadership positions/extracurriculars/etc.

That's good to hear, but it still makes me cringe. Hard to thing to see after working so hard for three years. Would you recommend mentioning something in my personal statement about it?
