How can I tell if I'm doing well on audition rotations?

Was just wondering if maybe some residents, attendings or maybe other students could pitch in. I am currently in my first audition rotation and was wondering how I could gauge if I am doing well or not. When you ask residents how you are doing at the end of the week is it common for residents to tell you that you are doing well just to spare your feelings?
