How did you become a pharmacist? (Pharmacy tech?)

Hi, im obviously new around here but had a quick question for the current pharmacists. What was your path like to becoming a pharmacist, aside from the schooling? Where you a pharmacy technician while you where a undergrad? If so did it help you out in the long run? Or was it a complete waste of time? Just curious because I feel like I should be getting some experience while I'm young.

in PA, we dont need to have a cert for becoming a tech

You don't have to, but I think you should. The best knowledge comes from experience.
