Just wondering if anyone noticed any changes in score distribution/average with the new test this year. My class got stats back last week - saw an increase in the mean, but fewer people scoring in the 260+ range as well as sub-230s.

Mean went from 238 to 241, and multiple 270+ scores! Not bad for a mid-tier state school.

I'm liking this for the simple fact that you included an effect size in addition to your p-value.

Don't have my class's scores yet cuz a lot of people delayed step 1 until late July/August (we normally take it in early June). I personally know quite a few people who scored 250+, even 260+, making my score seem like garbage lol. But no one thinks the average will be higher than usual (low 230s).
