I have received an acceptance at a non-US/Canadian medical college for 2020. I am sending in my final secondaries. In the question: Have you ever been accepted to any medical school before, should I answer "Yes" even if it's for this current cycle? Or does this question only apply to previous years' applicants? If it is customary to say yes, even for current acceptances, would it mean that I wouldn't even be considered for an interview since I have an acceptance? Is it worth it to even apply, given that situation?
Yes. The prompt says ANY. By ethical obligation and the applicant code of conduct, you must reply Yes. Now, you have not matriculated to that non-US program, so it's still your responsibility to explain your situation and let the various admissions committees decide.
