You have a pretty solid application as presented. I wouldn't say your ECs are lacking, but you may consider trying to find a volunteer opportunity or a research project if you're really looking. As you noted, a large part of your competitiveness will ultimately be decided by your MCAT score. However, if you're shooting for a state school as an in-state resident with ties to the school, I don't think it'd be too difficult

Volunteering is always beneficial. I joined an EMS station in my county as a volunteer and plan on doing that until (hopeful) matriculation next fall. I'd suggest shadowing in a specialty that you believe fits your interests as well!

And yeah, band things! I was in 3 bands (marching, basketball, and symphonic) throughout all 4 years, so I'm hoping that pulls for something. Yours should too! :D
