1). Nuke option: the legal profession has this **** locked down. There's a bunch of pretty cool software from the legal profession. Some track billable hours, which is nice for figuring out how much time you are actually soending writing reports. Pro tip: your dictation is taking you longer than you think. So is admin time. Extra pro tip: even phone calls can be put in.

2)There's an outlook extension which tracks projects that can be used for report tracking. But iirc that is fairly expensive, but deductible. Do x, set completion date at Y. Blah blah blah. If you're rad at this crap, it can do it for you.

Simple spreadsheets keep me on track. Only takes me like 5 minutes at the end of the day to update what I did and look ahead at what needs to get done.
