I'd like to apply to MD/PhD at George Washington University School of Medicine. They request that you apply separately to the PhD portion, but I don't know if I should apply to Columbia School of Arts and Sciences or Institute for Genetic Medicine. Do they give the same PhD/is the latter part of the former? Where did other people apply and how did you get an application?

I'm interested in the PhD in Genetics from the Institute for Genetic Medicine, but their webpage refers you to CSAS for an application... it's a little confusing.

Thanks!

I'm sorry, I meant the Institute for Biomedical Sciences (I was going off memory, which is quite jumbled at this point).

I was wondering the same thing. I emailed the admissions office at the Columbia School of Arts and Sciences a few weeks ago, but they didn't get back to me. If you find out how to apply, please let me know.
